Stakeholders at Spectrum use a tool called Verbatim to create, edit, manage, and track error codes that TV and internet customers experience. I undertook the challenge of redesigning this mature product, which is used by over 10,000 end users. My process involved extensive user research, wireframing, prototyping, and iterative testing to ensure the new design met the needs of its diverse user base. I designed a sleek, modern, and highly usable web app that drastically improved the user experience. One of my key suggestions, which was accepted, was to add screenshots of the errors that users see on their TV or computer, providing clearer context and aiding in faster resolution of issues.
